Our Promise To Our Customers
When our customers order plants via our website we appreciate that they are placing their trust in us to select the very best of our nursery stock for them as if they were selecting plants from our nursery themselves. This we promise to do.
We send out plants Monday - Thursday. This avoids plants sitting in a depot over the weekend. If for any reason the plants are unavailable we will telephone or email you immediately to arrange alternatives or a refund. We will never send an alternative without prior approval.
Please allow up to 14 days for delivery although in reality it is usually much less than this.

Delivery - UK
We send our plants with a courier, UKMail.
For very large items we use our own van and driver.
We take great care in packaging our plants but it is impossible to guarantee that there will be no superficial damage to leaves.
Where necessary we may cut plants back to a manageable size.

We all know how annoying it is to visit a web shop and spend time ordering plants only to be put off at the final hurdle by high delivery costs.
For this reason we will try to explain how delivery is charged.

Just like a taxi metre set to a certain amount before you even set off on your journey we charge a set £7.99.
For each additional 9cm pot 50p is added.
For each additional 1L pot 65p is added.
For each additional 2L pot £1 is added.
For each additional 3L pot £1.20 is added.

So as an example an order consisting of 6 plants in 9cm pots and 4 plants in 2L pots will incur a P&P charge of £7.99+£4=£11.99

Please note that plants in 5L pots and above can be extremely variable in weight and height and are therefore calculated individually.

Some plants in 2/3L pots may incur an additional charge due to their height.

There is a £19.99 surcharge per parcel for Channel Islands, Irish Republic, Isle of Man, Northern Scotland and Scottish Islands. Carriage costs at checkout are calculated for one parcel. If we cannot pack your complete order into one parcel we will contact you for confirmation before processing your debit/credit card.

There is a £16.99 surcharge per parcel for Northern Ireland. Carriage costs at checkout are calculated for one parcel. If we cannot pack your complete order into one parcel we will contact you for confirmation before processing your debit/credit card.

There is a £5.99 surcharge per consignment on parcels for the Isle of Wight and Isles of Scilly.

Delivery - EU
Parcels up to 10Kg - £29 (Finland £39) and £1.50 for each additional Kg.
By using the shopping cart the cost of p&p is automatically calculated for you.
