Terms and Conditions

Our Promise To Our Customers
When our customers order plants via our website we appreciate that they are placing their trust in us to select the very best of our nursery stock for them as if they were selecting plants from our nursery themselves. This we promise to do.
We send out plants Monday - Thursday. This avoids plants sitting in a depot over the weekend. If for any reason the plants are unavailable we will telephone or email you immediately to arrange alternatives or a refund. We will never send an alternative without prior approval.

Delivery - UK
We send our plants with a courier, Business Post.
For very large items we use our own van and driver.
We take great care in packaging our plants but it is impossible to guarantee that there will be no superficial damage to leaves.
Where necessary we may cut plants back to a manageable size.
Minimum delivery is £16 for up to 10Kg. Thereafter £1.00 per Kg.

Delivery - EU
We are able to send dormant plant material such as bulbs and rhizomes and bare root plants (plants with most of the soil shaken from roots) to the E.U. Small packages up to 2Kg - Minimum £16.
Larger packages up to 10Kg - £29 (Finland £39) and £1.50 for each additional Kg.
By using the shopping cart the cost of p&p is automatically calculated for you.
Please allow up to 14 days for delivery although in reality it is usually much less than this.

There is a £20 surcharge per parcel for Scottish Highlands and Islands on parcels above 2kg. This will not show in your carriage costs at checkout. If this applies to your order we will contact you for confirmation before processing your debit/credit card.

There is a £20 surcharge per parcel for the Irish Republic on parcels above 2kg. Carriage costs at checkout are calculated for one parcel. If we cannot pack your complete order into one parcel we will contact you for confirmation before processing your debit/credit card.

There is a £4.99 surcharge per consignment on parcels above 3kg for the Isle of Wight.
