In spring, when the flowering cherries have finished their display, this small native, deciduous tree becomes smothered in dark pink double flowers. These are followed by red berries - an important source of food for birds in winter. A pretty but tough little tree, ideal for a small garden, and will tolerate a wide variety of conditions.
Grow in moist but well-drained soil in sun/part shade.
