Family Menispermaceae
Originating from Malaysia
We recommend a large tripod if grown indoors rather than the curtains. Makes a stunning and unusual house plant. As it ages the caudex becomes very large and woody, and develops deep grooves and fissures.
Will survive a mild winter outdoors in most parts of the UK and new growth in spring will quickly make its way up in to a tree or large shrub.
Grow on moist but well-drained soil in part shade.
Eventual mature plant size :
Height 4m
