An evergreen, twining climber with lance-shaped, glossy, dark green/bronze flushed, veined leaves that turn a rich red in winter. In summer it produces exquisite, Gardenia-scented, small, pinwheel-shaped, creamy white/yellow flowers.
Trachelospermum 'Wilsonii' isn't a rampant climber and is therefore suitable for a small conservatory.
Grow in fertile, well-drained soil in sun or shade. It will even tolerate deep shade but may produce less flowers. In very cold areas it is advisable to grow against a warm sunny wall.
