(Adam's needle and thread)
Family Asparagaceae
Originating from USA

A trunk-less, multi-suckering species forming large clumps of rosettes with straight, flexible, dark green leaves, up to 50cm long.
The margins of these sport curling, cream coloured thread-like filaments - hence its common name. In summer it produces a 1.5m flowering stem bearing tubular cream flowers.
This is the oldest Yucca in cultivation in Europe - introduced in the 16th century.
An extremely hardy species, tolerating a wide range of conditions and most soils. Prefers full sun.

Eventual mature plant size :
Height 1m
Spread 1.5m
