A slender stemmed vine with large, deeply incised, glossy, dark green leaves produced in a luxurious abundance. These turn stunning shades of red and orange in autumn. Ampelopsis supports its self with tendrils and can be trained against a wall or pergola or allowed to scramble up a tree or over tree stumps. This is a reasonably vigorous climber and care should be taken to ensure it is kept clear of gutters and roof tiles if grown against a house wall.
Grow in moist but well-drained soil in sun/part shade.
