A virtually evergreen fern forming a compact rosette of crisped, congested, overlapping, forest-green fronds. Fronds may die-back in a harsh winter. A lovely stout little plant that would work well in a terrarium.
Grow in moist soil in shade/part shade. Will tolerate a dry soil in full shade, but water well in its first season.
