(Broad buckler 'Crispa Whiteside')
(Award of Garden Merit)
Originating from N. W. And Central Europe
An especially ornamental fern with a shuttlecock of very pretty toothed and crisped fronds. It is partially evergreen but the fronds will be lost in a harsh winter. New foliage emerges fresh yellow-green before turning dark green in summer.
Grow in moist soil in shade/part shade. Will tolerate a dry soil in full shade, but water well in its first season.
