Originating from Europe, Asia and N. America
An erect shuttlecock of vibrant, light green fronds up to 1.8m long, emerges in spring, often one of the first ferns to produce new foliage in the garden. Grow in moist soil in part shade. They will tolerate dry soil but the size will be severely restricted.
