Originating from New Zealand
One of the finest dwarf Pittosporums, fast growing to 1m and very hardy, though strangely, rarely seen in gardens. Evergreen, with dark green, slightly wavy edged leaves on thin black stems, it forms neat architectural, low growing, mounds and is a splendid substitute for box. An annual clipping keeps it compact.
Unscathed in our exposed nursery border during the big freeze of 2010.
Grow in moist but well-drained soil in sun/part shade.
