(Award of Garden Merit) Family Apocynaceae
Originating from China, Korea and Japan
Trachelospermum jasminoides isn't a rampant climber and is therefore suitable for a small conservatory. You could even try it outdoors as ground cover, where it will create a dense, scented, and weed-suppressing carpet.
Grow in fertile, well-drained soil in sun or shade. It will even tolerate deep shade but may produce less flowers. In very cold areas it is advisable to grow against a warm, sunny wall.
