Family Araceae
Originating from South Africa

A clump-forming perennial, evergreen in mild UK winters, forming a mound of overlapping, upright, glossy, bright green leaves up to 45cm long and large, pure white flowering spathes with a yellow spadix. Handsome as a foliage plant alone, the flowers add simple but exquisite beauty.
Grow in moist, fertile soil in sun/part shade. May be grown as a pond marginal. Also a superb plant for a shady conservatory and the flowers are long lasting in a vase. Although 'Crowborough' is hardier than the species it is advisable to cover the crown of the plant with a mulch in winter.

Eventual mature plant size :
Height 90cm
Spread 90cm
