A semi-evergreen, clump-forming, woody-based perennial with hairy silver grey leaves and bright orange/red tubular flowers produced over a long period from late summer through to late autumn. Excellent in gravel gardens, rockeries and amongst blue grasses such as Festuca 'Elijah Blue'. Ours survived outdoors in the cold winter of 2010/11 and although cut back to ground it made a full recovery in the proceeding season.
Grow in poor, well-drained soil in full sun.
