Lovely broad leaflets emerge with an intense, clear orange colour, becoming yellow as they mature. The spring colour hues last well, and only slowly change to pale yellow/green during early summer before turning to a delicate light green for the rest of the season. In the autumn they once again turn a brilliant clear shade of yellow. The young branches are green and form an upright bushy shrub, turning reddish brown as they mature. Grow in part shade to avoid leaf scorch in humus-rich soil or in pots.

Height and spread after 10 – 15 years if not pruned 4m x 3m.
