Family Crassulaceae
Originating from Canary Isles
Outstanding silver succulent leaves with a white variegated margin are borne on short trunks, often bearing so many rosettes of foliage they cascade to the ground, encrusting pots or rockery with bright and slightly hairy, sticky foliage. Ideal amongst spiky plants, planted in groups where it can create soft mounds of spreading evergreen leaves.
This striking aeonium is not fully hardy and should be planted out in free draining soil in full sun or part shade for the summer, or if planted in pots, moved into a frost free conservatory for the winter.
Height and spread after 2 – 5 years 20cm x 50cm.
