Originating from the Mediterranean.
Brilliant silver mounds of soft, finely cut evergreen foliage form a dense and irresistibly tactile low shrub. Its bright colour makes a fantastic display in its own right, but when planted with dark foliage or flowered plants, it makes a stunning contrast, as does its soft shape amongst spiky plants. Great in Mediterranean planting schemes, rockeries, pots or any front-of-border position in full sun where it can root into free-draining soil. This is a valuable and adaptable variety. Its rarely produced dull yellow flowers are a bonus, appearing in slender racemes over the aromatic foliage.
Height and spread after 5 – 10 years 50cm x 1m.
