Splendidly delicate and lacy, this exceptional fern looks equally at home in the dappled shade of a woodland or jungle setting or on a hot, exposed dry stone wall. Its two ranks of tiny Pinnae (leaflets) are borne in a feather-like arrangement on each side of a black rachis (central stem), forming a loose rosette shape. It will form charming colonies by way of creeping rhizomes, and is evergreen, very hardy and easy to grow, thriving in any non acidic soil in sun or shade.
Height and spread after 2 – 5 years 20cm x 50cm.
