A fast-growing Birch with burgundy leaves in spring turning a rich, deep purple, making an eye-catching contrast against the pale, exfoliating bark. In autumn the leaves turn brilliant red, orange, yellow and purple. A superb accent tree for all seasons and suitable for small gardens.
Grow in moist but well-drained soil in sun/part shade.
