Originating from Bhutan.
A relatively new cultivar that was propagated from a tree originally collected in Bhutan, found growing in Ness Gardens, Wirral, UK. It has shiny, deep tan coloured bark with striking white markings called lenticels. The dense crown of dark green leaves is slender when the tree is young, broadening with age to a wide crown.
