Description

Family Betulaceae.
Originating from Nepal.

This cultivar was grown from seed collected in Eastern Nepal. It has a striking rich orange coloured bark with white markings or lenticels, which peels neatly in thin strips. The dense crown of mid-green, oval tapering leaves turns bright yellow in autumn. The tree has a slender shape when young,  which broadens with age to form a wide crown.
