Big and bold, lush and jungly, bright and loud foliage commands attention in the shade of dense planting. The exquisitely detailed variegation of its heart-shaped deep green leaves give the plant a frosted jade overall colour, making them stand out perfectly in dappled shade. Forming large mounds of abundant foliage that is preceded by elegant spikes of sky blue forget me not-like flowers, its extravagant display warrants viewing close up at the front of borders in woodland and jungle gardens. Easy to grow and robust once established in moist part shade and in any soil type.
Height and spread after 2 – 5 years 50cm x 1m.
