Originating from SW China

Large, deeply toothed leaves, covered in white hairs. The tips of the stems bear scented lilac flowers in spring which fill the air with their perfume. This is a slightly tender Buddleja and deserves some extra winter care. A sheltered spot is necessary as a minimum, but it is worthy of extra protection in the form of a straw stuffed chicken wire cage.
Grow in a sheltered position in well-drained soil in full sun.
