A medium-size canna with narrow, upright, blue/green leaves and racemes of gladiolus-like, rich red flowers from mid/late summer until the first frosts. The flowers seem to remain tightly wrapped in the vertical, powdery, flower sheath for much longer than other cannas, adding to the suspense, before unravelling to reveal their petals.
‘Endeavour’ can be grown in the ground in rich, fertile soil or alternatively, it will thrive at the margin of a pond.
