The beast of Cannas. Capable of reaching an enormous height in a season with thick, heavily veined, dark green, paddle-shaped leaves with a bronze margin, up to 1.2m long (musifolia means banana-like foliage) on thick, red/brown stems. We’ve never seen it flower in the UK but we live in hope. This is the true Canna ‘Musifolia’ and is rarely offered for sale.
Grow in rich, fertile, moist but well-drained soil in sun/part shade.
