Deciduous, compact, short-lived perennial forming a bushy mound of divided, feathery foliage above which masses of orange-pink flower-heads ageing to rose-red are borne from summer into early autumn.
Grow in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. Deadhead to prolong flowering then cut right back in late autumn.
