Description

Family Cornaceae
Originating from Europe

Incendiary indeed, beginning its display in autumn with a beautiful display of orange/yellow foliage before it falls to reveal the yellow and orange upright stems. The fiery spectacle intensifies with red colours joining the already hot look. Bright green leaves appear in spring contrasting spectacularly with the now dark red stems, followed by white flowers in summer and black berries.
Tough, hardy and easy to grow in any soil, in full sun or part shade -outstanding planted in drifts amongst Eucalyptus trunks, pampas and coral bark maples, and great in pots.
Height and spread after 5 – 10 years 2.5m x 2.5m.
