Supercool and sophisticated, intense and smouldering, the starbursts of Izarra blooms radiate Mediterranean heat. The long, rolled petals have a plush and frilly outline, giving each one a beautifully textured form to their orange and yellow colours. They radiate from around a cluster of golden stamens, and provide a successional display throughout the summer. Perfect for any style of garden and growing in pots. Hardy enough to plant out in southern and coastal gardens, its tubers should be covered with straw in colder areas, or lifted for the winter. Easy to grow in all but the heaviest wet soil in full sun.
