originating from the Himalayas, China and Taiwan.

Fiery to smouldering, warm and glowing, upright and delicately arrow-shaped, this exceptional fern produces its colourful evergreen fronds each year, beginning in spring with an abundant flush, followed by a steady succession of individual new leaves throughout the season. Emerging in red and salmon pink colours, turning orange and yellow as they mature, to a deep glossy green. As good as a floral display, and longer lasting. In mild winters the foliage persists well until the spring. Best grown in a sunny spot with some shelter at midday in any but thin and dry soil.
