Originating from Chile, Argentina, Peru

A very fast growing, evergreen climber with wiry stems and handsome dark green foliage. It produces a profusion of brilliant red, tubular flowers throughout summer. Plants cling to supports by means of tendrils.
Eccremocarpus is not fully hardy and may be reduced to ground level by severe frost but will usually re-grow with renewed vigour in spring. In a frot-free conservatory it will remain evergreen throughout the winter.
Grow in fertile, well-drained soil in sun.
