Originating from Holland (Piet Oudolf)

Compact, clump-forming, deciduous but erect perennial with red-tinted strong stems and ovate, toothed leaves. White flowerheads to 11cm (4?in) across with orange-brown disc.
Grow in deep, well-drained, humus-rich soil ideally in full sun although they can tolerate some shade. Deadhead to promote further flowering, although seed-heads attract birds.
