Glossy, stunningly marked deep green mounds and candelabras of bee heaven, this stylish plant flies a little under the radar when its blue flowered relatives steal the show, but it’s quietly elegant form and evergreen foliage should not be underestimated. Tall spikes of creamy white thistle-like flowers are borne over soft mounds of marbled, evergreen, exquisitely white-veined, dark green shiny foliage. The perfect addition to Mediterranean planting schemes, its low mounds of foliage contrast with spiky plants whilst its flowers compliment them. A reliable species to grow in any free-draining soil in full sun.
