Family Myrtaceae
Originating from New South Wales, Australia
A valuable addition to any garden – a dwarf Eucalypt, with all the characteristics of a fully grown tree in miniature. It has bright silver round leaves of the type we usually associate with a eucalyptus’ juvenile foliage and nearly white branches that are sparse and angular. As the tree matures and the trunk thickens it develops a warm tan-coloured bark which peels in strips. The few stems can grow at oblique angles and can make a uniquely shaped large shrub or small tree, or they can be clipped to form a more balanced shape. Fairly hardy and easy to grow in most soil types, this stunning plant is also drought tolerant once established
