Wonderfully compact mounds of zingy lime green and acid yellow flowers make this a must-have plant. From a distance, its low domes of slender leaves resemble moss growing over stones, a perfect complementary plant for upright or spiky species. Its curious flowers, consisting of many delicate bracts surrounding a cluster of stamens, add an eye-catching, 3d effect. They give the stems the appearance of clustered spires as they morph from rich green to lime green and brilliant golden yellow at their tips. Easy to grow in any well-drained soil, achieving its densest growth in full sun.
