Family Rosaceae
Garden origin
An impossibly white, incredibly floriferous display of delicate papery petaled flowers, borne in such abundance that the foliage is obscured. The arching stems of this deciduous low and wide spreading shrub give the flowering display a cascading appearance that is very striking. The frothy-looking mass of blooms completes the soft and rounded character of this species, which can flower from late spring to late summer. A stunning addition to traditional English gardens, when planted in space to show off its form.
Very hardy and easy to grow in any soil in full sun.
Height and spread after 10 – 20 years 2m x 2m.
