A member of the Century-Plant family produces soft, yucca-like, evergreen leaves, 2-3 ft. in length, crowded on the perennials short, woody base. The flower stalk rises 5 ft. and bears showy, coral-colored, tubular flowers occur on arching, wand-like, pink stems. Leaves are plum-colored in winter; blue-green other times.
Grow in sharply drained soil in full sun.
Height and spread after 2 – 3 years 1m x 40cm
Semi mature height and spread after 5 – 6 years 1m x 1m
Potential mature size after 15 – 20 years 1m x 2m, as new rosettes appear at the base.
