Garden origin

Deciduous clump-forming perennial with narrow grass-like leaves and narrow spikes with orange buds that open to bright, yellowish orange flowers.
Grow in a sandy soil that has been enriched with humus, but any deep, moist but well-drained soil will do. Full sun is best, can tolerate partial shade but flowering is reduced. Old flower stems can be cut down after flowering.

Semi mature height and spread after 4 – 5 years 75cm x 60cm
