Originating from South Africa
A rather special ‘poker’. Evergreen, thick-stemmed plants with arching, broad, glaucous leaves up to 1.5m (5ft) long. Produces pale yellow flowers from red buds from early to late summer.
Grow in fertile, moist but well drained soil in sun.
Semi mature height and spread after 4 – 5 years 1.5m x 90cm
