Originating from New Zealand
An outstanding dwarf shrub with unique dusky purple/bronze evergreen foliage and a profuse flowering display of intensely dark carmine pink flowers, with dark burgundy tints. The abundant and aromatic tiny leaves clad its low spreading branches so densely that they make a billowing cloud like form, emerging a glossy deep green in spring before mellowing to purple in autumn and winter. In late spring and early summer the dainty five petaled flowers cover the plant so densely that the foliage is almost obscured.
Easy to grow in any free-draining soil in full sun.
Height and spread after 2 – 5 years 40cm x 40cm
