Description

Family Iridaceae
Originating from Argentina Chile.

Pure white elegance, gracefully arching evergreen leaves, dusky late-season stems and seed pods. Oozing classiness at a diminutive height with a neat and compact clump-forming habit, this lovely species fills a tricky position in planting schemes, where it can be grown amongst other taller architectural plants in full sun, especially suiting Mediterranean gardens. Its loose canopy of orchid like very pure white flowers is perfectly set off by the rich green strap-shaped foliage. Easy to grow in free-draining soils in full sun. Height and spread after 2 – 5 years 75cm x 50cm

Height and spread after 1 – 2 years 50 x 50cm
Semi mature height and spread after 3 – 4 years 1m x 1m
