A clump-forming perennial with daisy-like, yellow-orange flowers held above the leaves. large, rounded, saw-edged leaves, flushed deep purple in spring, before fading to dark green. The undersides of the leaves remain dark red/purple.
Grow in deep, moist soil in shade/part shade. Will tolerate a drier soil if in full shade or a sunnier aspect if grown in permanently moist conditions.
