An evergreen shrub with burgundy leaves that have pink margins. The new stems are dark blood red and the older leaves mellow to nearly black with a white margin. This exceptional small shrub is member of the myrtle family endemic to New Zealand, forming a soft rounded shape. Hardy in coastal and southern areas of the UK. Great under planting for taller spiky plants.
Grow in well drained soil in sun or part shade.
