Originating from New Zealand
An evergreen shrub with deep red, glossy, leaves. This exceptional small shrub has much detail to offer, particularly in raised beds or near paths where the undulating surface and character of the leaves can be appreciated. Great for coastal climates and as an under-planting where a dark backdrop will set off other colours and shapes such as taller spiky plants, particularly in Mediterranean style gardens.
Grow in well drained soil in sun or part shade.
