Originating from South east USA.

An exotic-looking but extremely hardy evergreen large shrub, with leathery, dark green leaves that emerge with a strong red colour. Large lemon scented flowers are produced in summer. Grow in part shade or full sun in fertile loamy soil, will tolerate alkaline conditions.
