Stunning, exotic upright slender leaves of a cheerful mid green colour are marked with broad stripes of yellow, horizontally banding the foliage. One of the most tropical looking miscanthus, this form has leaves that emerge stiffly upright, arching only slightly to give the clump a soft ‘shaving brush’ form with a strong architectural presence. Its loose flowers are creamy/ silvery at first, becoming flushed with pink hues as they mature, turning to silver and maintaining a graceful display of tan colour well into winter. Robust and easy to grow in any soil type in full sun and in coastal conditions.
Height and spread after 2 – 5 years 2.5m x 50cm.
