Family Myrtaceae
Originating from Southern Europe

A bushy evergreen shrub with small, leathery, dark green leaves and a profusion of fragrant white flowers in summer followed by pink stems bearing black berries in winter. Beautiful all year round but invaluable in the winter garden.
Grow in moist but well-drained soil in full sun.
Requires a sheltered spot.
