Semi-evergreen perennial with tapering spires of fox-glove like crimson flowers with a red-striped white throat. Penstemons flower over a long period – from June until the first frosts. Very attractive to bees and pollinating insects. Mulch in winter.
Grow in well-drained soil in sun/part shade.
