Originating from China, Korea and Japan
Zingy lime green, palmate leaves up to 30cm across follow on from the curious ground hugging pink/white flowers, heralding the end of winter. This striking perennial will grow quite happily in shade or in sun if the soil is very moist. It tends to spread but at a satisfying, rather than alarming rate, giving dazzling, lush ground cover. Plant with Rheums and red Acers for interplay and contrast.
Grow in moist soil in sun or shade. Leaves may scorch in sun in dry soils.
