Originating from New Zealand

Evergreen, clump-forming perennial with stiff, strap-shaped, upright, arching green leaves up to 2m in length. The grey/blue undersides of the leaves are an attractive feature. In summer a tall, erect stem emerges bearing tubular red flowers.
Grow in moist but well-drained soil in sun/part shade. Very wind and salt tolerant.
