A bushy medium-sized evergreen shrub with creamy-white flowers, in branched panicles in mid spring. Red young leaves, turning coppery-green and finally dark green.
Grow in moist but well-drained acidic soil in sun or shade. On chalky soils it is necessary to grow Pieris in a container in ericaceous compost.
