Stout upright needles up to about 100mm long are bright silver blue in colour, borne on a slender and compact plant. Its architectural form is great for framing views or making avenues. Used in pairs by a front door its formal character is brought into close quarters where its textural qualities can be appreciated, or as a pot plant for a patio. A strong growing dwarf form of the Scotts Pine, rarely seen in the UK, this plant is from artisan Dutch growers, and is probably 10 – 12 years old already. A hardy and easy to grow species thriving in a wide range of soils in full sun.
